the blue jays acquired a very big piece of their championship team puzzle from the angels in december of 1990 in the way of devon white. here's his 1991 o-pee-chee card:

he won gold gloves in all 5 of his seasons with the blue jays from 1991 through 1995. in addition, he hit .364 in the 1991 alcs in a losing effort against the twins, and then hit .348 and .444, respectively, in the blue jays alcs wins over the a's in 1992 and the white sox in 1993 en route to world series victories. in addition to winning the two back-to-back championships with toronto, he was a member of the marlins' 1997 world championship team as well.
