1991 steve bedrosian

the giants traded steve bedrosian to the twins in december of 1990. here is his 1991 o-pee-chee card:

bedrosian saved 6 games for the twins in 1991 in support of rick aguilera en route to a world series victory.  in the fall classic, bedrosian appeared in 3 games, each of which was a twins' loss, although that wasn't due to bedrosian's performance.  after sitting out the 1992 season, bedrosian signed a deal with the braves and pitched for them through the 1995 season.

1986 steve bedrosian

steve bedrosian was traded to the phillies in december of 1985. here is his 1986 o-pee-chee card:

the braves had tried using bedrosian exclusively as a starter in 1985. from 1981-1984, bedrock had saved 41 games for atlanta while making just 9 starts in 189 appearances. in 1985, all 37 of his appearances were as a starter. he posted a record of 7-15 with an era just under 4.00. the phillies immediately put bedrosian at the back end of their bullpen, and he responded with 29 saves in 68 games with an era of 3.39 in 1986. his best year was 1987 in which he saved 40 and won the national league cy young award.
