1990 richard dotson

richard dotson became a free agent after splitting the 1989 season with the yankees and white sox. he wound up signing with the royals in december. here is his 1990 o-pee-chee card:

unfortunately, dotson was 0-4 in 7 starts and one relief appearance for the royals in 1990 before they released him in june, effectively ending his big league career.

1988 richard dotson

richard dotson was traded from the white sox to the yankees in november of 1987. here's his 1988 o-pee-chee card:

dotson began his tenure with the yankees in good form.  after 11 starts, he was 6-1 with an era of 2.89.  that 11th start resulted in his 100th career victory, and it came in a complete game win against the orioles.  after that point, however, dotson went 6-8 and finished with an era of 5.00.  dotson returned to the white sox as a free agent following his release from the yankees during the 1989 season.
