bob ojeda became a dodger as a result of the december, 1990 deal that sent hubie brooks back to the mets. here's his 1991 o-pee-chee card:

ojeda was 12-9 in his first year in los angeles. his 5th win of the season, a june game in which he threw 7.1 shutout innings against the cardinals to win 1-0, was also the 100th of his career. his best pitched game, however, was a 5-hit shutout against the expos in july.

1986 bob ojeda
bob ojeda made the right move in the 1985 offseason, going from the red sox to the mets as evidenced by his 1986 o-pee-chee card

ojeda was traded to the mets in the deal that sent calvin schiraldi to the red sox. ha. he went on to have his best season, winning 18 games with a 2.57 era and finished 4th in the cy young voting. in the 1986 postseason, ojeda was 2-0, winning one game in the nlcs and another in the world series against his former mates. he was the mets' starter in game 6, the game with all the 9th inning drama and in which schiraldi took the loss.
