ted sizemore was traded by the phillies to the cubs in the deal that sent manny trillo to philadelphia. here is his 1979 o-pee-chee card.

and the topps back:
sizemore was the nl roy in 1969 for the dodgers. after 2 seasons in la, he was traded to the cardinals for dick allen, then later sent back to the dodgers for willie crawford. the dodgers traded him away a second time, this time to the phillies, for johnny oates. he spent two years in philly, and put up good numbers in 1977 and again in the 1978 postseason. he would spend only a few months in chicago, as six months after the trade that made the team and text variation card shown above possible, sizemore was once again on the move, this time to boston.
during his stay in chicago, sizemore hit .248 with a couple home runs and 24 rbi before the second base position was usurped by steve dillard.
voici à vous, 1979 ted sizemore!
