jerry davanon was traded by the cardinals to the orioles in november, 1970 for moe drabowsky. here's his subsequent 1971 o-pee-chee card

davanon spent the entire 1971 season with the orioles, batting just .235 with only 4 rbi in 38 games. of course, that means that davanon was a member of the american league champs, which can't have been too bad. davanon would later sign with the indians prior to the 1975 season in an attempt to play for former teammate frank robinson. he didn't get the chance as the astros purchased his contract just as spring training was ending. for some great insight into davanon's career, check out this interview courtesy of the astros daily.
