ojeda was traded to the mets in the deal that sent calvin schiraldi to the red sox. ha. he went on to have his best season, winning 18 games with a 2.57 era and finished 4th in the cy young voting. in the 1986 postseason, ojeda was 2-0, winning one game in the nlcs and another in the world series against his former mates. he was the mets' starter in game 6, the game with all the 9th inning drama and in which schiraldi took the loss.
