1978 don aase

after a single season in boston, don aase was traded to the angels for jerry remy.  here's his subsequent 1978 o-pee-chee card

aase spent the first 3 of his 6 seasons with the angels as a starter before becoming a reliever and sometimes closer.  from california, he would go to baltimore where he would record an all star season as their closer in 1986.  he finished his career with one year stints with the mets in 1989 and the dodgers in 1990.  historically, aase is alphabetically fourth on the all time major league baseball roster behind david aardsma and hank and tommie aaron.
