1990 candy maldonado

candy maldonado signed a free agent deal with the indians in november of 1989. here's his 1990 o-pee-chee card:

in his lone year with the tribe, maldonado moved to left field and played in a career high 155 games. he hit 22 home runs and drove in 95 while batting .273. he parlayed those numbers into another free agent contract, this time with the brewers who traded him to toronto part way through the 1991 season. that worked out well for maldonado, as he was still with the blue jays in 1992 when they won their first world championship.
