1983 rich gale

it's the final day of rich gale weekend here at oh my o-pee-chee!

rich gale was traded from the giants to the reds in january of 1983. here is his 1983 o-pee-chee card:

for the first time in his career, gale was used primarily as a reliever. he started only 7 of the 33 games in which he appeared for the reds, and had a record of 4-6. he also saved a game and hit his second career home run, this time off of steve trout.
