the twins traded mike stenhouse to the red sox in december of 1985. here is his 1986 o-pee-chee card:

stenhouse had his best season in minnesota in 1985. the former first round pick from harvard hit .223 with 5 home runs as the twins sometime dh. with the bosox in 1986, he went just 2 for 21 in limited action. he did have an obp of .424 thanks to 12 walks in 34 plate appearances (he also had a sacrifice). stenhouse, whose father dave pitched in the majors, became a free agent after the season and signed with detroit. he spent the 1987 season in the minors, never again playing in the major leagues.
