the cubs traded future hall of famer bruce sutter to the cardinals in december of 1980. here is his 1981 o-pee-chee card:

sutter had led the national league in saves in each of his last two seasons in chicago, and he promptly led the league in saves in his first two seasons with the cardinals. in 1981 sutter posted 25 saves, and in 1982 that number rose to 36. he had 2 wins and 3 saves in 6 postseason games in 1982 as the cardinals won the world series against the brewers.
