1991 ernie riles

ernie riles was traded from the giants to the a's in december of 1990. here is his 1991 o-pee-chee card:

riles had faced the a's in the 1989 world series as a member of the nl champion giants, but went 0 for 8 in the earthquake-interrupted series. with the a's, riles hit .214 in 108 as oakland failed to make the postseason for the first time since 1987. after the season, riles moved on to houston and then spent the 1993 season (his last) in boston.
