1982 ray knight

ray knight was traded by the reds to the astros in december of 1981 for cesar cedeno. here is his 1982 o-pee-chee card:

knight proved as dependable in houston as he had been in cincinnati. he played in 158 games for the astros in 1982, batting .294 and driving in 70 runs. he was named to the all-star team and finished 25th in the mvp voting that year. in the midsummer classic, knight replaced starter mike schmidt in the 3rd inning, but went 0 for 3 at the plate.
