1977 dan warthen

dan warthen's 1977 o-pee-chee card is a photo variation.  it's prett hairy.  see for yourself:

obviously, warthen was feeling the '70's and o-pee-chee decided to showcase his less conservative hairstyle.  while they were at it, they also tilted his autograph a bit.

warthen had appeared in 23 games for the expos in 1976, 16 as a starter.  he began the 1977 season in the bullpen, but made 6 starts for the expos later on.  he was traded to the phillies during the season but made only 3 relief appearances for the nl east champs.
