1979 bill lee

bill "the spaceman" lee was traded from the red sox to the expos in december of 1978.  here's his 1979 o-pee-chee card:

lee went on to win 16 games for the expos in 1979, which included his 100th career victory that came against the braves as lee went 8 innings and gave up just 4 hits and an unearned run.  he also threw 3 shutouts, including a 2-hitter against the cubs in his second start as an expo.

lee seemingly enjoyed his return to hitting, as he had 16 hits, two doubles and 6 rbi in his return to being a complete baseball player.  in 1981, his final full season in the bigs, lee hit .364 and slugged his second career home run.
