1980 bill almon

billy almon, later known as bill almon, was traded to the expos in november of 1979.  here is his 1980 o-pee-chee card:
here's the topps front:
now the o-pee-chee back:
and the topps back:
i'll stick with calling him 'bill' since i already posted his 1983 variation which uses that name. anyway, almon spent just half the 1980 season with the expos.  after appearing in only 18 games for them, he was granted free agency and signed with the mets.  after finishing the season in new york, he signed another free agent deal, this one with the white sox.

voici à vous, 1980 bill almon!

  1. The weird thing is that the Expos banner matches better with the Padres uniform than the Padres one does.
